    I changed the antenna a few days ago, I used a new one from Renault Kadjar, it cost 45e. The only thing I had to change were the fakra connectors. From male to female. I used the connectors from the original antenna. FM reception is sometimes better than the original, DAB is much better and GPS without problems. The manufacturer is South Korea, it is full of electronics and they tuned it perfectly. The principle of phantom power supply is exactly the same as that of fiat.

    You don't have to install the original camera. You can use also from China, without lin bus. The problem is that not every camera from China works with the Uconnect radio, even if the conditions are met. I have 3 cameras from China at home, but only one works. All are the NTSC. And another thing - the video coax cable have to be good quality, because is it long distance from back to front, and even a very small interference is a problem.

    I can confirm that the equipment can only be changed in relation to before FL and after FL. I can't switch things from before FL to FL. Maybe only digi IPC - one member on our forum tried to change the digital device, the proxy record is fine (MES does not have to have the correct ISO code when writing). The problem was with the ACC and AEB system, it didn't work. I think that the problem is either in the VIN protection in the radar -the new Tipo must have the same VIN in the BCM, IPC and radar, or the new digital instrument cluster was taken from a Tipo FL, that was not equipped with ACC, because Eper differentiates the instrument cluster with ACC and without ACC. Tipo before FL has a mismatch DTC code when the VIN in the BCM/RADAR does not match. Tipo after FL has a DTC code when the VIN in IPC/BCM/RADAR does not agree.


    I'm planning to buy any IPC from the Tipo before FL and try it on my Tipo.. I have ACC in my equipment, so I'll try it. I am curious about the VIN IPC/BCM/RADAR mismatch.

    I have an eeprom reader ready, so I'll play around a bit and then I'll let you know the result.

    So I made another project. Some Nordic versions came with an active grill. The manufacturer talks about reduced consumption, less noise and faster heating of the diesel engine. I bought the part for the price of 100e from Poland. The assembly is simple, you just need to dismammable the front bumper. Connection of 3 pins - +12V, ground and Lin Bus. Next, the function must be coded using AlfObd, AGC-enable.

    Is not so easy to connect rear camera. First, you have to look at the "engineering mode" in Uconnect radio (tutorial on youtube), and go to RVC sts, then status - if there is "HW NOT PRESENT", you can not connect any rear camera and PROXY will be fail, in reverse gear - black screen on Uconnect. . If is status "HW PRESENT", you can connect OEM rear camera, or aftermarket from ebay, aliexpress etc. Camera must be in NTSC format, minimum resolution 640x420.
